  • You can also park at the Stamford Town Center Mall, entering the parking from Greyrock Place or Tresser Blvd. The mall is only one block away, so if you don't mind a short walk, you can park in the mall garage, which only costs 50¢ for two hours. Park in the first floor (lowest level) in the extreme southeastern corner. Walk south to the corner of Tresser Boulevard and cross both streets to the Marriott Hotel. See map below.

  • You could also park in the garage of the Marriott Hotel ($5.00).

ENTERING THE BUILDING

  • If you drive in through the garage entrance across from the Marriott, enter the building through the door located a few feet beyond the garage attendant to the left.
  • If you park on the second level, enter the building through the door at the north end of the garage.
  • If you are walking to the meeting from the parking at the mall, enter through the door facing Tresser Boulevard, located in the diagonal entry at the northwest corner of the atrium.
  • Note: If you arrive after 7:00 p.m., the doors may be locked. You will have to press a button next to the door and tell the security person that you are here for the Toastmasters meeting in the community room. Once the light turns green, the door is open.

ONCE YOU'RE IN THE BUILDING . . .

Once inside the building, take the elevator or the stairway to the second floor. The only room on the second floor is the "Community Room". You will see a sign near the door of the community room indicating the Toastmasters meeting.

The club meets from 7 PM to 9 PM. People generally arrive between 6:40 and 7:00 to help set up the room for the meeting. Setting up the room is key to starting our meetings on time, and perhaps more importantly, ending on time!

If you arrive after 7:00, please enter the room as quietly as possible so as not to disturb the person speaking.
